The history of Gram's Place
Find out why Gram's Place is what it
is on our History page.
What is a
Hostel?
First of all: If you need to have this question answered, you will
probably not be comfortable at Gram's Place or any other hostel accommodation
for that matter and you should move on and look for an expensive hotel.
;)
Hostels provide inexpensive, safe and clean overnight accommodations.
Most Hostels offer dormitory-style rooms as well as private rooms.
Usually Men & Women sleep in separate rooms, unless the dorm is offered as a
COED dorm, like our train room #9, which can accommodate singles, couples or
families (up to 6 people).
At Gram's Place Linens & Towels are included in the overnight price.
Like many other hostels, Gram's Place offers two fully equipped self-service
kitchens, secured storage space and common
dining areas and living
rooms to socialize with other travelers. (Check out our
Amenities for more details!)
