world's largest online travel community writes: “spectacular combination
of soft white sand, calm, clear water and a laid-back atmosphere"

Tampa Links

Ybor City and it's Cigar Factories,
and ride the Vintage Electric
Streetcar Line to
Channel Side,
where the
Cruise Ships

longest continuous sidewalk, with it's 4.5 miles), and enjoy the affluent
neighborhood of
Old Hyde
Park.
Here you will
also find a little "village" with unique
shops
& restaurants.
Plan a day of fun for
Busch Gardens,
Adventure Island
or Lowery Park Zoo
Of course Disney World, Orlando
is only an hours away...

Where
to Eat/Drink
Tampa's famous
Columbia Restaurant,
is the
oldest restaurant in Florida,
from
1905 and
located in historic Ybor City. We have lots of cheap local eateries
that we can recommend when you are staying at Gram's Place! Just
ask!
Nightlife => wonder over to Ybor City or Channelside for the best
Bars, Restaurants, Clubs... International Plaza offers some
exclusive bars & restaurants as well
Shopping
The
International Shopping Plaza
& Bay Street
at
Tampa International Airport
offer a nice ambience but is the most expensive mall in Tampa.
If you mean to actually spend money in a mall, we recommend
Westshore
Shopping Mall. Tampa also has a lot of great Thrift- Second
Hand and Vintage Stores!
For Outlet Shopping you would have to drive about 1.5 hours south,
to Sarasota and the
Ellenton
Outlet Shopping Mall.
We can give advise when you tell us what you are looking for. |
